Always been a machine tee-green, for once he managed to hole some putts. It helps that always seemed to have a flattish one from 12 foot, but you've still gotta hole them, which he did much to the delight of the 13 M7ers with him in their team.
There is a big pack behind. Being out of the spotlight could help both Zalatoris & Rose, but it really is Hidekis to lose.
Its much more open in the M7. Matt 'Trouser Press' Corby holds the lead but no less than 7 golfers are within 7 points (or 1 snap hook / aggressive putt / lucky bounce.
Even with Scott hacking it round like an amateur, he is still only 54th with the small field so all the BOTR competitors are all lined up below all of us with 5 or more playing the weekend.
Ben 'Proper Chopper' Harris currently leads that on his debut but its as close as the 'real' leaderboard is. Jimmy 'Dry Hands' Evans one of 4 with the same team in 5th-8th.
At the bottom, no one came close to the magic 500 with 3 the worst. Not a surprise in such a small field.
Gjap 'Dec' Tjan is currently in pole position to join the Hall of Shame. Despite picking Hideki, Richard 'Schlungs' Sexton is giving him a run for his money. What a debut that would be!!
Time to crack open the Sunday beers, put the feet up and enjoy another great Masters Sunday. Rose (heart) or Zalatoris (wallet) would be my preferred result.
