Some incredibly low scoring from M7 for a first round (outside the Masters) driven
by low scoring from the popular picks
Brooks, Bryson, Smith Morikawa, Rory and Scottie all inside the top 20. Niemann the big standout popular pick currently in 108th
But it is so tight. 94 golfers sit between -2 and +2. If you have players in an around then the M7 leaderboard can change quite quickly
Overall scoring
45 of us are at 100 pts or below (last year it was 15), which is normally not a bad starting point for end of day 1.
Andrew 'Bullet Baxter' Moffat leads the way on 49 points closely followed by Stuart 'Apple' McIntosh and Daniel 'Port' Vale on 52
20 points separate the top 26
The top 20 looks like:
15 of you at the moment have all 7 players going through which could prove helpful.
Only 10 of you have less than 5 through currently - and could be competing for BOTR
Lobo's prediction is that 50-70 at the end of day 2 would be a good score to aim for and put you in decent enough position going into weekend, especially if you can get more than 5 through
A fuller update (if I am doing well) will come at end of round 2
