Open 2024 - end of day one

A day of carnage out in Troon, especially for some of the more popular M7 picks

Fleetwood (93rd), Hatton (41st), Bobby Mac (31), Smith (142), Rory (126) meant that a lot of you are looking at some very high scores

The only player with more than 40 picks shooting low was Lowry

But that gave opportunity to those with some of the less popular picks

With only 17 players under par, amazingly the top 4 for M7 each have four of them, putting them in strong positions even though each of their 5th players are in 41st

There are 2 players who have all 7 through at the moment - Alex 'Dravid' Wall and Michael 'Lobo' Loberman. 10 with 6 through, and 33 with 5 through. Which means (for those of you without degrees like Tommy 'The Viking' Rathleff so eloquently put it on the whatsapp group) there are more players at the moment qualifying for BOTR than the main game

But...we are only at the end of day 1 and there is plenty of play left so lets see how we go
