What was shaping up to be a cracking back 9, just like when he won the PGA last year, it became something of a procession as his iron play was just too good and the like of Rahm / Spieth just couldn't light the fire. As per the post on Whatsapp, 50 starts, 5 wins, 4 major top tens and 2 Major wins... both at a canter. Filthy indeed.
Speaking of filthy, I've just played my 50th M7. If i win the Masters next April then i'll be $100 down in my M7 career and Matt 'Beevower' Price is taking home $10k for winning 2 of them in 4 months. FILTHY.
Congrats Beev. A stunning achievement and with a score of 17 with 9 holes to go you looked like you were going to crush your own 27pts record. Of course it was fat pr*ck Lowry who let you down. He always manages somehow even when helping you win :-)
The aforementioned Massage McCreadie was only a point from Matt 'Father allegedly' Latino. 38 and 39 would win 17 of the last 22 M7s. Alas only good for the minor places this time. Connors (Latino) and Sergio (Massage) the guilty parties.
If it wasn't for the fact he is leading the HoF and has been paid out a good few times, i'd feel bad for Tom 'Wobbly' Wheeler in 4th. Brutal....... but he is, so fck him! He'll get over it i'm sure.
Only 10 competing for BOTR, with Michael '35 million' Carroll comfortably taking home the consolation from Steve 'Archie' Bishop. 23 from his 4 is great scoring and he'll be thinking of the woulda coulda shouldas.
At the bottom, the only man with only 2 golfers out there, Ruairi 'Satchell' Hatchell had the spoon locked down. a 96pt 'win' is impressive. So too is Adrian 'Kaiser Sosai' Ashman as one of 5 players to pick the winner, yet still only just sneaking into the top 100!
Just a final note on the season. Congrats to all the winners. 14 of you cashing out this season, with Chris 'COK' O'Keefe the other to cash out twice.
As per whatsapp, M7 is put away on the shelf at the back of the garage until Augusta next spring. Myself & Lobo will be bringing you the Ryder Cup Super 7 again this autumn. More details to come on email about that one in due course.
