An interesting day out on the course, not that I saw much due to the time difference. But things are shaping up quite nicely in M7 for potentially an interesting weekend
Pretty much all of the popular picks made it through other than Scott meaning ome impressive stats for M7'ers. 18 of you got all 7 through which is impressive although one of those is Daniel 'Snake' Martin who still somehow finds himself in 71st! 49 of you have 6 through (almost half of us) and 21 have 5 through. That makes 88 of you with at least 5 through playing for the main prize
Some familiar faces still at the top with Bill 'You're 'avin a' Lafferrandre III leading on 31 points and Jamie 'Bubbles' Hamilton still 2nd on 36 points. Braydon 'Bend it Like' Barcham moves up a couple of positions and is now on the podium with 41 points.
But it is getting a little tighter out there in terms of M7. The top 35 or so are within 30 points of the podium right now going into moving day. Top 15 looks like
For the chasing pack these are the big players you want to boo / cheer (depending on your situation) that feature in the top 30 teams:
Scheffler (22 out of top 30)
Brooks (23 out of top 30 - but not counting in many teams at moment due to his 30 score)
Fleetwood (14 out of top 30 - but not counting in many teams at moment due to his 49 score)
Wyndham Clark (16 out of top 30, including 6 out of top 10)
Fowler (21 out of top 30)
DJ (25 out of top 30)
De Chambeau (16 out of top 30)
At the other end of things we have 14 of you competing for BOTR with Jim 'Steve' McMahon leading the way on 134 points
Will 'Boris' Buck looks odds on for wooden spoon being the only player with 2 through and he holds the rest of us up on 349 points
I have a sneaky feeling that we may see some movement today (maybe me just hoping) with those going out earlier getting more favourable conditions. I think if you can find yourself around the 50-55 mark going into the final round then you probably have a chance of podium and there are about half of us already either in that bracket or within 30 points of it - which is completely do-able on moving day
