M7 Covid Masters - Round 1 Summary

Round 2

is just starting and the last players are heading up 17 (or 8!) so a quick update. I always say that you can't win M7 in round 1, but you can.... yawn... even boring myself with that now. But its true!

Buffy had a quite frankly ridiculous 10 at some stage of Round 2 in the US Open and i think finished about 14th so there will be a lot of change, but the top 2 are looking pretty sound at the moment. Particularly Steven 'The Pig' Farmer with 7 of the T25 in his ranks. With the 2015 M7 PGA title under his belt, he has the pedigree. Can he win and go to #2 on our all time list behind Wobbly?

Remarkably, 2nd and 3rd are 2 of our M6ers. WIll that cost them down the stretch?

At the bottom, things are a bit bleaker. Unsurprising to see an M5er at the bottom. Alas, no one looks in danger of a magical 500, but all can change!

Fingers crossed we get Round 2 finished Friday night but i doubt it very much. I've juts blocked my calendar for Monday PM just in case. I've a sneaky suspicion it could be a good move.
