After a 90 odd minute delay the golf got underway and from the scoring it looked like a real test out there. Round one not complete yet so this update is before the players come back out on Friday
Only 15 of us are at 100 pts or below not helped by some poor performances from the popular picks
Day and Rahm +6 (61 and 55 picks respectively), Koepka (79 picks) + 2, Gooch (33 picks) + 4
Luckily for most DJ was impressive and his -3 sees him inside the top 5 and justifying his most popular pick selection.
NB - the bbc leaderboard which powers the M7 leaderboard look like it hasn't updated DJ's final hole bogey yet so still has him in 2nd instead of 3rd. I'm sure this will correct itself later
The top 15 looks like:
Chris 'Blubba' Watson leads the way on an impressive 38 and has a bit of room at the moment between him and Danny 'Bin' Grimes in 2nd and Jonathan 'Nigel' Spink in 3rd
Will 'Boris' Buck sitting in 13th with only 4 through at the moment. He will be hoping at least one of his 3 over the cut line can get in because his other 4 are all inside the top 10!
Dave 'Mmmbop' Hanson is top deubtant at the moment in 19th
A 500 is not out of the question with Dave 'Molton' Browne looking the most likely at the moment of anyone
This could really go anywhere at the moment. I think if you can get your golfers to Par (or even +1) it could make for an interesting weekend
