What a fantastic end to the US Open. The duel between Fitz and Zalatoris went to the final shot on the final hole, and M7 was pretty much no different
The top 3 going into the final round remained the top 3 at the end but not in the same order. None of them had Fitz.
Todd 'Ronald' McDonald who led going into the final round, thought his days were numbered when Davis Riley started slipping down the leaderboard with a poor final round. He was the only one that had him. However a late surge back up from his team saw him pick up 3rd place and S$1600 with 79 points, jut edging out Daniel 'Port' Vale in 4th, 5 points back
Agonisingly for Ronald he was just one point behind 2nd place. Had Zalatoris won in a playoff it would have moved Scheffler down to 3rd and he would have tied for 2nd. As it was though James 'Dry Hands' Evans held on by a point to clinch 2nd with 78 points taking home S$2600
And in the end being the only one with 7 through to the weekend paid dividends for Stuart 'Apple' McIntosh who takes home 1st and the S$5000 with 77 points and more importantly a place in the hall of fame. A remarkable achievement to be the only one to pick all 7 through - a worthy champion!
Here's the top 10:

In the race for BOTR, it changed hands a few times on the final day but in the end Mark 'Teflon' Templeman held his nerve to keep his BOTR place he held going into round 4 with a decent 144 (3 players in top 10). He takes home S$600 for his troubles
Special shout out to Tom 'Damage' Sarginson who had 5 through, 3 in the top 10 (1st, 2nd, 7th) and didn't get into the top 10 of M7! I'm sure some of this other players are now on the don't pick list
Well done to all and see you soon for THE Open
