It was a bit of a foregone conclusion at Portrush as soon as Scottie went through the first few unscathed

Not quite such a forgone conclusion in M7 although those near the top broadly remained there for most of the tournament

Jeanette 'Jimmy' Hennix had led since end of round 2, and a potential M7 record was possible. Marcus 'Dicky' Davies started day 4 in 2nd place just 5 off the lead. The two of them shared 5 of the 7 golfers. But with Hovland nowhere near for 'Dicky' and Scott not making cut for 'Jimmy', it basically became between Bobby Mac for 'Jimmy' vs Wyndham Clark for 'Dicky'.

Clark's -6 meant that he finished 4th one shot ahead of Bobby Mac. A Bobby Mac birdie at the last would have been enough to tie M7 at the top but it wasn't to be

Meaning Marcus 'Dicky' Davies took top spot with 28 points. S$5000 better off as a result. It's Dicky's first win (to go with his 2 x 2nd places) and moves him upto 15th on the coveted hall of fame

Jeanette 'Jimmy' Hennix just 3 points back on 31 takes 2nd with S$2800. More importantly Jimmy moves upto 3rd in the hall of fame!!

Daniel 'Port' Vale was 5th going into the last day but with the Hojgaards moving backwards and the fact he had Clark, he was able to get to 3rd with 38 points and hold on for $1600. That's his third 3rd place of all time and moves him to 68th in the hall of fame

Top looked like this

Down in the BOTR it was close but Jamie 'The Reverend' Green took home the S$600 with 146 points

Holding up the table was Craig 'Katherine' Jenkins on 313 points

That brings us to the end of another season

We hope you have enjoyed it and are already looking forward to April next year!
